 Knowing God
1. God loves us and wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. You can know God personally ... Here are four principles to help you discover how you can begin a relationship with God and experience power to change. Principle 1 : God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life. God created you. Not only that, He loves you so much that he wants you to spend eternity with Him. Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Jesus came so that each of us could know and understand God in a personal way. Jesus alone can bring meaning and purpose to life.
God loves us even if we haven't loved Him.
"In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us." -1 John 4:10 God wants us to know Him.
The Bible says God is at work in everyone's life. "So that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us." -Acts 17:27 |
