Welcome!
Message from Ruth
Today as we celebrate our 4th birthday, we remember the purpose of why we were birthed. God has called us to make Christ-centred disciples and build vibrant biblical churches. From the days of Christ, they were fervent in doing so. It is not a new calling. Day after day, the children of God would meet, sharing their lives with each other and with God. And as they do so, God moved amongst them; many experiencing God personally in their lives. Testimonies were told to glorify God. Hearts are moved and turned back to God. Hands lift the name of Jesus and lips sing and shout praises to the Lord. Signs and wonders were rampant as the Holy Spirit moves through those who are wounded. Healings were such a common occurrence. The Acts 2 church does not sound so unfamiliar after all. The church today is no different from the very first church that Jesus called. As we remember our mission, may God continue to fan the passion behind that mission.
Verses of the week
46 Day after day they met together in the temple. They broke bread [a] together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely, 47 while praising God. Everyone liked them, and each day the Lord added to their group others who were being saved.
(Acts 2:46-47 CEV)
