It is amazing to see how the Holy Spirit was very much involved in God’s work. Today’s verse speaks of the very presence and power of God. Zerubbabel was involved in the rebuilding of the second temple. Often times, when we think about rebuilding it would involve plans and strategies. But here God is throwing out all those plans and the only key is His Spirit. The Holy Spirit will be the source of power and anointing to cement the rebuilding of God’s house. As we go through this season of overcome, let us not focus on what we can do or should do, but rather, allow the Holy Spirit be the architect of the rebuilding work in our lives. Allow the Holy Spirit to tear down and replace areas of our lives that need restoration. The Holy Spirit will show us areas that need His touch. Do not resist the work of the Holy Spirit. If we do, we will miss out on the blessings. Let the Holy Spirit come and transform us.
