Pastor's Message

Please carefully read and think about the verses for this week. Spiritual blindness is far worse than physical blindness and in the long term its consequences are far more serious. God can and desires to heal both conditions. Jesus claims are stupendous and would only make sense if He truly came from God. If He came from God, then being the “light of the world” would not really be a problem since the very nature of God is light.
 
If we are truly walking in the light, then there is nothing hidden in our life. There would be no shame, no guilt and perfect communication. When we do wrong it would be immediately revealed and could be dealt with. There would be no fear and the love of God and His protection would be completely clear. Joy and peace would abound. Deep down we all want this and need this too. We need the revival cleansing of God to penetrate every domain of our life and get rid of everything that is rotten, which we inwardly hate. Let us hunger after righteousness!

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
 
1 John 1:5-7 NIV
(5) This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. (6) If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. (7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
