Dear church,

I hope you were encouraged by last week's sermon. We saw that God's people needed God's strength to do his work. Can I reaffirm today to continue to look to God. God's work requires God's strength!
Anything less than God's strength will mean we tire and become faint hearted in our strength and we may lower or distort God's standard and vision to compensate for our own weaknesses. Let's be encouraged to tap into God's strength and build God's house and be great commission Christians who really love God and want to reveal that love to people all over the world. May God bless you richly today as we learn more about God's great love for us and for his great future plan, for his church through Haggai.

Dear church,

Last week, we looked again at the book of Haggai. Haggai's generation of believers not only realised that God and his house needed to be their top priority but, they acted on their conviction. God's voice lifted them, and they felt stirred in the spirit knowing he would be with them. They took practical steps to get started.
God has placed us here to build him a dwelling for his presence too; a spiritual dwelling. Please pray that we catch God's vision for our lives and prioritize his house in 2007. Let's believe for God's presence to be powerful this year! Happy New Year!

Dear church,

Praise the Lord we have entered the New Year. Last week we started our new theme as we go through the book of Haggai with the "Better Future"

Haggai instructed the people to build the temple as their top priority. Many responsibilities and demands are upon us in our lives and God knows that. But, with his help we can build his house - the church. Just as penguins huddle to survive and reproduce as their top priority, I encourage us all to make the building of God's church our top priority and watch God at work to help us as we set our priorities right.

Dear church,

I hope that this week's Christmas festivities period was an excellent one for you. I thank God for this past year and all that the Lord has done in our lives.
As we face the New Year I trust that God will direct our church and our lives in a way that results in much blessing in our families and care groups overall. We face many challenges in order for us to grow and be established in our mission endeavor throughout Melbourne City and the world.
